Shear Studs data is typically imported from applications such as RAM Structural System, but can also be defined in OpenBuildings Station Designer. The structural Analysis Data information for each type of member contains an optional attribute that when defined applies shear stud data.

Tip: You can add shear stud data to individual members in the Building Element Info - Structural Data or in the Steel Beam Results category of the steel placement tools' Properties. Modify Structural Attributes also capable of writing stud count information to selection sets.
